Collections & records.

Store structured data, set who can read and write, and manage entries with confidence.

Collections & records

Collections are the built-in database of your site. A collection holds records — structured entries like products, bookings, menu items or form submissions.

Create a collection

  1. Open your site and click Collections, then Create collection.
  2. Give it a name, for example Products.
  3. Save. The collection is ready to hold records.

Add records

Open a collection and click New record. A record is a flexible set of fields — you decide what goes in, for example:

{
  "title": "Iced Latte",
  "price": "12.90",
  "available": true
}

Records can be created here in the dashboard, by visitors through your site's forms, or by your AI assistant.

Access rules

Each collection has rules controlling what visitors can do:

  • public — anyone can read the records
  • authenticated — only logged-in visitors can read
  • private — only you (and your collaborators) can read

Write access is always yours unless you allow visitors to submit — useful for contact forms and orders. Change rules with the Edit button on a collection.

Notifications (optional)

Collections can trigger emails and webhooks when records are created — see the site's Notifications page.

Export

Use the Export button to download a collection as CSV for spreadsheets.
