Notifications & webhooks.

Send emails when events happen, fire signed webhooks to external services, and review the delivery log.

Notifications & webhooks

When something happens on your site — a record is created, an order is placed, a visitor registers — you can automatically send an email or notify an external service. Open your site and click Notifications.

What triggers a notification

Event Fires when
record.created A new record is added to a collection
order.created A visitor starts a checkout
order.paid A payment is completed
end_user.registered A visitor registers on the site

Email notifications

Create an email rule:

  1. On the Notifications page, add a rule under the sending channel.
  2. Pick the event that triggers it.
  3. Enter one or more recipients.
  4. Write a subject and body. You can use {{variables}} (like {{record.title}} or {{order.id}}) and they are filled in at send time.
  5. Save.

Emails are sent through the transport configured for the site (SMTP or a supported API provider). Credentials are encrypted and never exposed.

Webhooks

Webhooks send a signed payload to an external HTTPS URL — useful for connecting to Slack, Zapier, your CRM, or a custom backend.

  1. Under Webhook endpoints, click Add endpoint.
  2. Enter the HTTPS URL that will receive the payload.
  3. Save. A secret is generated for you — keep it to verify the signature.

Each webhook delivery is signed with HMAC-SHA256 so the receiving service can confirm it genuinely came from your site. You can add up to 5 endpoints per site.

Delivery log

The Notifications page shows a delivery log of recent sends — both emails and webhooks — with their status. If a delivery fails it is retried automatically. Use the log to confirm a notification went out or to troubleshoot.

Test send

Use the Test send button to fire a sample notification without waiting for a real event. This lets you verify your recipients and webhook endpoints are working before going live.
